KITCHEN REVAMP

by Gwen Marie on February 23, 2017

Lets face it, the kitchen is the most essential room in the house.  You paddle into it first thing in the morning for a fresh cup of coffee, and paddle out of it the last thing at night.  It’s where family gathers for quality time and eating meals. Its where bills get paid and homework gets completed. Its the heart of the house. Updating it will not only add value to your property but bring you years of enjoyment. The trend toward remodeling your kitchen rather than moving is a highly competitive choice in today’s low inventory and high priced market.

It is so easy to update a tired old kitchen by painting the cabinets and boxes, changing out the pull hardware, installing a new back splash and if your budget allows, add a new sink and faucet and  purchase new kitchen appliances from a higher end manufacturer.   The cost for Miele appliances will set you back about $36,000 for an electric and gas stove, a new venting hood, dishwasher, double wall ovens and BONUS – a built in coffee maker. The coffee maker is plumbed into the water system and gives your kitchen a convenience factor that will make your friends envious.

Here is a kitchen project we just photographed.  Its face lift makes it a glamorous addition to the house.

We also decorated the family room, TV area next to the kitchen, to give the overall room great appeal.
